The first cut on a part for the simulator was made.  A rectangular shaped hole on the Main panel was made for the PFD.  The CNC code was written manually by using the dimensions measured by jogging the tool to the various corners.

Other side of the panel.  The routing before the CNC cut was made by hand with a Wood Router.

The 3 x LCD screens are removed from their casing and will go into the pockets that was made earlier with a wood router by hand (part of the reason why I decided to build the CNC Router).  Then I will mount the metal cases containing the electronics on top of the mounted LCD screens.

The next step is to cut the hole for the EICAS and the SFD.  After that will be the tricky part to cut the rectangular pockets for the tactile switches.  I have only 10mm to work with.
