 Blog - Fritz Weinrebe Minimize
By Fritz Weinrebe on 05 October 2006

Today is a special day.  I dreamed of building a home cockpit for Flight Simulator for 7 years now.

The project is starting off with some planning and prototyping.  I bought copy of QCad 2.1 from RibbonSoft for 20 Euros.  It is a 2D CAD program suitable for designing any home cockpit in 2D.  What I like about the program is that it is easy to use and it is not expensive comparing it with other CAD software on the market.

QCad drawings are stored with a *.dxf file extension.  You can export your drawings to Bitmap *.bmp files.
